[It's two days after the Thanksgiving ordeal, and Hachibe has naturally spent most of his Saturday running around town trying to check up on the people he cares about after the turkey ordeal.  In the course of making his rounds, he visited the house of a newly-droned Seychelles.  He didn't even need to have a conversation with her to be able to tell what was wrong, because as soon as he saw her, she was wearing a pair of sneakers instead of her usual beach sandals.

It's been a rough couple of weeks for this poor pervert.  So many of the girls he'd found his perfect parts on have been droned recently.  And sure, the parts are still there, but they seem so hollow without the personalities behind them.  Something just feels wrong about admiring drones like that.  In any case, Hachibe can be found moping around on the front porch of his house more or less all day Saturday.  He's got headphones on and seems to be listening to something on a cassette deck while he absentmindedly shuffles through a pile of close-up pictures of ears and feet.]

"I hate this town."

[Hachibe lets out a sigh.]

"Garnet... Seychelles... why did they have to do this to you?"

Huh? [Did he say.....Garnet? Does this guy know Dagger? Then, he realises that the boy sounds very familiar].....Hachibe?

[Looks up, blinking for a moment before taking the headphones off.]

"...Yeah?"

I thought it was you. I recognised your voice from the phones.

I don't know if you recognise mine, though....it's Zidane.

"Oh yeah, hey! You're, uh... friends with Garnet, right?"

[He's been getting the distinct feeling that there's something more there, but she's never owned up to it, so he's not gonna use the 'boyfriend' label yet.]

[Well, not technically, yet. And as much as Zidane would like to say that she is, it doesn't feel right yet....]

Yeah....[Goes quiet for a moment - yeah, there is definitely something more, there.]

[Hachibe's quiet for a few moments, clutching one of the pictures in his hand. Eventually, he holds it out toward Zidane with a sympathetic smile.]

"Here. You can have this if you want."

[Yeah, it's one of the pictures of her ear.]

Huh? [Takes the photo and at first, looks puzzled. Is that...an ear? It looks a little familiar. Then he recognises the hair - what the?!]

Y-yeah...[Not that he doesn't agree - as far as Zidane is concerned, every part of Dagger is beautiful - but even for him, the fact that Hachibe took a picture of her ear, of all things.....even for Zidane, there is something very weird about that]

I need to ask...how long have you known Dagger for?

Yeah, and then I tried to fight someone and he broke my arm. I ran into Garnet after that, and she set it for me and used her magic to heal it.

Geez, you were pretty lucky she was there to help.... [Hachhibe sounds pretty grateful to her for what she did. Still, the picture of the ear sounds somewhat disturbing to Zidane....and this is coming from the guy who once grabbed his girlfriend's butt]

Yeah, she is a pretty special girl......really special.....[Gets lost in thought - he misses her badly, even though he would rather she was at home than here..]

Whoah....she does?! [Not that Dagger wouldn't, but the way Hachibe said it..]

"...It's okay, don't worry about it. But she's something really special, y'know? I'd hate to see her slip through someone's fingers like that. And you seem like a pretty good guy, Zidane, so I know you'd protect her."

[Hachibe offers the same picture of Garnet's ear again.]
