[Christmas is getting closer and closer, and Hachibe's got a lot of gift-buying to do, so today after school he can be found in Mayfield's shopping district running around getting his list finished.  There are a couple of situations you might run into him in:

1. In the middle of the actual shopping itself.  He's spending basically all of his time in the womens' clothing section, walking around very slowly and deliberately looking at various things.  He picks things up and sets them down again, scrutinizing them with a master's eye for color, weight, feel, size, and every other conceivable dimension.

2. Still shopping, but in a considerably less focused fashion.  Now he's just wandering around between various stores looking around at things.  Every so often, he stops to stare down at a piece of paper.  He's got a few people left to buy for, but it's pretty clear he's got no idea what to get for any of them.

3. He's heading home not really looking where he's going, and has managed to either crash into your character or narrowly avoid hitting them.  In either case, he's spilled the contents of his bags.  Feel free to notice any of the following as he's apologizing and cleaning up: earmuffs, a tight-fitting blue dress, a cute pair of pink mittens, red hair ribbons, a fitted v-neck sweater with a snowflake pattern on it, a makeup case with several shades of lipstick in it, and a pair of electric socks.]

"...So I'm having some trouble with one of the gifts on my list.  Does anyone know if Mayfield has an army surplus or military supply store or anything like that?"

[He turns around, pressing his hands and nose to the window.]

Ya know, ya live in a house with a person fer 10 months, ya think ya'd know what ta get 'em for Christmas!

"Y-yeah..."

"Maybe you could just ask her what she wants?"
