[So, guess who ate some of that delicious-looking candy corn and is now now dressed up in some bizarre ripoff of a Superman costume?  This guy.  And somebody up there must be looking out for Hachibe, because he's developed the one ability in the entirety of Superman's ill-defined and ever-shifting catalogue of superpowers that he could only dream about under normal circumstances: x-ray vision.  It is truly a glorious day for all, or at least for Hachibe.  He can be found out in the streets of Mayfield, posing dramatically and making impassioned speeches about saving the world.]

"Never fear, Mayfield!  Hachibe is here!

...Hmm, I'm gonna need an actual superhero name."

Nothing is stronger then hatred.

[And all of a sudden, they're in Hell. Or at least a strange otherworldly illusion fuelled version of it. Screams fill the air coming from the blackness beyond and they seem to be floating in darkness.]

"Magic tricks, that's all! You don't scare me!"

[Even though she totally does. But he's gotta be a hero to protect the people of Mayfield.]

[And she is suddenly behind you.]

[There is a very noticeable shiver down his spine when she teleports behind him, but he's trying to stay brave in the face of all of this.]

[Oh look they're on ground now. It's that refresh- there are corpses coming out of the ground and grabbing at your legs. They "feel" real.]

[Unfortunately, since he's not defending anyone right now, he's as weak as your standard 15 year old with no combat training. So all he can really do is dance around trying to avoid the hands and kick at the ones that get too close.]

"None of this is real! It can't be!"

"You told me before! You can't send people to Hell in Mayfield! This has to be fake!"

[Continues his futile struggle.]

We don't have to be in Hell for this to be real.

"No! I can't die here! I have so many people to protect!"

[Thrashes back and forth, now firmly in the grasp of several of the corpses.]

[They will rip into his skin and it will hurt. It won't bleed but the pain will be there. And Ai will suddenly be in front of you.]

Oh pitiful shadow lost in the darkness
Bringing torment and pain to others.
Oh damned soul wallowing in your sin..

....perhaps, it is time to die?

[And with that she will move her arm out and everything will suddenly go silent save for the sound of a ringing bell and there are flowers suddenly flying towards your face. Time will seem to slow down and the fire starts to consume you.

This will continue for what seems like eternity. However sooner or later he will wake up alone on the street. There may be some faint marks on his skin from the hands and he will remember everything...but he isn't dead and quite clearly not in Hell]

[Hachibe screams in terror and pain as he is torn at and burned by the power of hell, but he struggles valiantly until he finally blacks out from the pain. He wakes up with a start, looking around for Ai in clear confusion before gripping at his chest to try to calm his frantic heartbeat.

He's definitely going to regret this when the candy-crazies wear off. An apologetic phonecall is definitely in order here. But for now, he simply gets back up and continues his patrols.]

[Hachibe whips his head around to look at San - the x-ray vision effect definitely makes for some easy parts scanning. She's got nothing he's particularly interested in, though, so he largely behaves normally around her.]

"Lost my mind? No way! I'm going to save this town!"

[If she only knew what he was looking at. Unfortunately, San is too unfamiliar with humans to figure it out, since she was staring at his attire just as rudely.

At his mentioning of saving the town, however, she steps forward, expression intrigued and all business.] Do you mean you're going after the monsters who imprisoned us in this town?
