[Hachibe heard the postman's phone call earlier, and he's pretty worried for the safety of Empress.  She's a sweet girl, and he's pretty sure nobody would want to hurt her, but he's met some pretty violent and unreasonable people since coming to Mayfield.  So since you can never be too careful about these kinds of things, he's heading to the phone lines to deliver a warning.  In contrast to his usual cheerful goofy demeanor, his voice is deadly serious this time.]

"Hey, Mayfield.  Don't any of you even think about trying to take revenge on Empress for her vote to stay here.  I promised I'd always protect her, so if anybody gets any funny ideas, you're gonna have to go through me first!  Hachibe Maeda, age 16, will not back down!"

[He doesn't even stay on the line long enough to hear any replies, hanging up and immediately running over to Empress' house at 506 Ricardo Street.  Passersby will see him standing there in front of the front door to the house, arms folded and a serious business expression on his face.]
