Hey Seychelles!  I know this is kind of short notice and we don't really know each other that well... again... yet...

Um!  But anyway, I wanted to know if you'd like to go to prom with me.

Hmm... I wonder what kind of suit I should wear to this thing.  Mayfield's clothes are pretty terrible.  I wonder if I can find something good?

[Hachibe can be found at the department store today trying on various colors of suit jackets and ties, looking for something that doesn't make him look like a complete idiot.]

It's basically just a dance. It's not really that big a deal. But I thought it'd be fun to go together. It might help you meet some more people, too!

Usually people get dressed up for it. I can loan you some money for a dress and some new shoes if you want to. It's not like I spend it on much else, really.

N-non, that won't be necessary! I'm sure I can manage. In fact, I can probably go to the post office to see if I can ask for them to send me something from home! I mean, that's where you're supposed to go for that, right?

No! You can't go there! Anything but that! They take body parts in exchange for your stuff back! What if they gave you back a dress but chopped off your feet for it?

Wh-what? What kind of postal service is that? Everyone else has always been telling me that my things would come back to me in the mail but no one ever mentioned that part.

Yeah, they send you your things back if you wait for them. But if you actually try to go to the Post Office to ask for stuff back, they make you give up body parts or memories for it. It's really not worth it.

The only way it's really safe is if you go there and trade back something you already got back before for something else. But otherwise it's way too dangerous.

Thanks for the heads up. I guess I have no choice but to buy something but it might be kinda fun to pick out some new clothes.

Well, it's not like you really have to break the bank or anything. How about I buy you a new pair of dress shoes and you can buy the dress? It'll be part of my apology for springing this on you at the last minute.

[She's there looking for prom stuff too. Though she's pretty picky and hasn't started getting things. And noticing Hachibe she quickly sneaks up to comment.]

[Hachibe turns around as he hears Tsubasa's voice, holding one black dinner jacket in one hand and a dark navy in the other.]

Oh! Hey, Tsubasa! Are you out shopping for prom clothes too?

[She looks at his selections and then points to the black one.]

[He turns away for a second to hide his frown while he puts one of the jackets back.]
