[Mother's Day. This sort of behavior actually isn't all that odd for Hachibe in the first place - he's already willing to bend over backwards to do anything at all for his parts girls, and he's a pretty friendly guy otherwise. So he hasn't particularly noticed that anything is wrong just yet. He's busybodying all over town today, visiting people and just sort of doing nice things for girls he meets along the way. Anyone can feel free to bump into him on the street or while he's out shopping - he'll be at the pharmacy, the clothing store, the pet store, and the grocery store, but he's also making some specific stops at some specific houses today. He's going for particular people in the house, obviously, but anyone who lives at these places can obviously answer the door.]

[Hachibe has shown up at 1245 Williams street carrying a large bag full of goldfish from the pet store. He knocks on the door, looking just as cheerful as anything.]

Taiwan!  Are you home? I have a surprise for you!

[To Olivier's house, Hachibe has brought an assortment of lip balm and moisturizers, as well as a humidifier from the drug store. Knocking on the door.]

Just out buying some presents for some friends.

Was there anything you wanted, Ruri?

"Um. I'm fine. I was just headed to work. Anything I want I'd have to go to the post office to get and that doesn't seem to be worth it."

Well, if there's anything I can do for you, just let me know, okay?

"No, I should be good. Next week I'll have enough for the swimsuit I wanted. The Kimono only killed most of my savings. Luckily work is kind of fun."

[She shrugs a bit]

Let me buy the swimsuit for you! It's the least I can do!

"Well, it was just going to be the cloth. I don't think you CAN get a two piece here but... Um... If you want to."

Of course! It's the least I can do, right?

"If you really want."

[Her deadpan has been replaced with slightly confused]

Sure! No problem at all!

[He digs into his pocket, pulling out some money.]

Will you have enough with this?

[She blinks at the money]

"More than enough, but, are you sure you are okay with this? It is very generous of you."

It's more than okay! Don't worry about it at all.

"Are you sure you are feeling well? I know your fascination with women in swimsuits but this seems a bit unhealthy. Maybe if you sat down out of the sun. I'll get you a soda."

No, that's no good at all! I should be the one helping you out!

"You do my job is a waitress. Its not a problem, its just my job."

Well, if that's what you want, then okay.

"I wouldn't want my boss to think I'm slacking. I'm almost done training and then I hopefully can get some different costumes to wear."

I'm sure you'll do great!

"Thank you. Are you certain you are feeling all right though?"

Yeah! Never better!

"Well, let me treat you to a soda in thanks anyways. We'll get you a seat out of the sun with a view of the street."

You don't have to go to all that trouble just for me. I mean, unless you really want to.

"You're a nice person Hachibe, and I would feel as if I were taking advantage of you otherwise. Even if it does seem to be a long standing goal of yours to get as many women into swimwear."

I'm just helping a friend out, that's all! It's got nothing to do with that, really!

"And I do appreciate it. Just the giving of money without any thought... It makes me wonder if something is going on as that's not normal behavior for people."
